Moonlight Madness opens the month on Wednesday, December 3rd! Highlighting local shopping and specials, Brandon’s Moonlight Madness event is for shoppers looking for unique gifts, one-of-a-kind items, and exceptional customer service. Come for an experience that can’t be found at the mall or over the Internet! Many shops open till 8pm on Wednesday Dec 3rd and Thursday Dec 11th!! All throughout town, there will be bargains, sales, specials, drawings, exceptional dining and pub fun and a terrific shopping experience. Many shops offering 20% off storewide and you’ll have a chance to win $100 in Brandon Bucks! (see more details below)

Winter Village! The Downtown Brandon Alliance and the Brandon Chamber of Commerce invite you to a small-town Holiday Market to enjoy some local charm.  Unhurried, Unspoiled, Unforgettable…find Holiday Joy here!! Moonlight Madness Wednesday Dec 3rd  Shops open til 8:00 p.m. with special offerings. Green Park Outside Market opens at 4:00 p.m. with the lighting of the Village! Winter Village activities and festivities through Saturday December 20th.

NOV. 29-SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY- SHOP LOCAL– this celebratory day was founded to encourage consumers across the country to support local, small businesses within their hometowns. Small Business Saturday has quickly become widely recognized as the day to kick start the holiday shopping season. After the insanity of Black Friday, stroll the streets and enjoy your friends and neighbors while supporting the local economy.

NOV. 29, American Legion Fill the Shelves Dance! 7 to 10pm– Dance off that Thanksgiving Turkey and benefit the Brandon Food Shelf! The Food Shelf is a greatly used entity in Brandon, and needs our support. The bar will be open, a basket raffle happening as well as a popping dance floor! $5 at the door plus a donation of a non-perishable food item OR MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF! Toss $10 in the basket and don’t haul the cans! Sponsored by Brandon American Legion and Colleen Wright Events! 

NOV. 30-MEMORY TREE LIGHTING Join us in Central Park by the fountain to see our beautiful tree lit up to remind us of our loved ones who have passed. Catch the magic of the season at 3:30 pm with carol singing by the Brandon Festival Singers. At 4:00 pm, the Memory Tree is lit to brighten our dark winter months.

NOV. 30- Library Holiday Auction This year the auction will return to the library! Doors open from 3 to 6 pm for a silent auction, light refreshments, wine and beer.  You will be able to find a partial listing of auction items on the Friend’s page of the Brandon Free Public Library website. Brought to you by the Friends of the Brandon Library

DEC. 3- (4:00-8:00), 5th (4-7), 6th (12-7) Downtown Brandon Alliance is creating a Winter Village in the Green Park (across from the Town Office). Each evening there will be hot food (different food vendor each night including Li’s Asian food on the 6th), warm drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), live entertainment, and shopping in the outdoor Winter Village. On Saturdays there will be games, crafts, and entertainment (and a visit from Santa) for families at the Brandon Town Hall from 1:00 until 5:00. (see more details below)

DEC. 6- Amahl & the Night Visitors- Brandon Congregational Church2 performances at 5 & 7pm. The Downtown Brandon Alliance, in partnership with Opera Vermont, is thrilled to bring you this cherished holiday tradition that has brought warmth, joy, and unity each December.

DEC. 11- (4-8), 12th (4-7), 13th (12-7) Brandon’s Winter Village will open in Green Park again for three days. (see above) This time with Chef Ken Lee providing hot food. There will be hot cocoa, mulled wine, and giant pretzels. Come eat, drink, shop, and enjoy live entertainment. (see more details below)

DEC. 13-CHRISTMAS DECORATING CONTEST– Time to string up some lights and jump into the festivities. Judges will be on the streets on Saturday, Dec 13th starting at 5 pm, be sure to have your lights on! There will be 4 categories: *Residential Traditional *Residential Whimsical (to include blow-ups) *Civic  *Commercial –Call in your own place or someone else’s to be sure they see the display, and the Judges will be at liberty to nominate their favorite picks also.  Contact the Chamber at 802-247-6401 or by email at: info@brandon.org.

DEC. 14-BRANDON FESTIVAL SINGERS – Brandon Congregational Church at 3 pm. Directed by Gene Childers & featuring pianist Jean Childers, this popular annual event brings together talented singers and musicians from area communities in a joyous Christmas celebration. Several of this year’s selections were recorded by the Festival Singers in 2005. Free admission. A free will offering will be received, a portion of which goes to charity.

DEC. 19- (4-7), 20th (12-7) Brandon’s Winter Village will be wrapping up these last two days in Green Park. Friday evening with food, drink, fire-pits, and handmade crafts and gifts to buy. Saturday has all that, plus fun for families at the Town Hall (1:00-5:00), and the Neshobe School students singing in the Park. (see more details below)

DEC. 20 & 21- Reverse Parade is at 1386 Pearl street at 6:00 PM-a reverse parade is where you drive by, comfy and cozy in your car and check out the amazing lights on our venerable covered bridge and enjoy the fun of our amazing decorations, lights and excited elves waiting for Santa, and the incredible people standing on the side of Barn Opera wishing you a wonderful Christmas season!

DEC. 21- 7:30pm- Shannon Wright and Friends– present an amazing Christmas concert for everyone, in the charming Brandon Inn! It’s free with wonderful music to herald in this joyous season!

Since 2015, our small farm and homestead has offered unique accommodations in a fully-equipped log cabin, free-range eggs, small-batch maple syrup, fresh-cut flowers, and a wide variety of handcrafted jewelry and knitted apparel, to travelers and customers from across the world.

In addition to sandwiches I always have packages available for purchase!
