Brandon Independence Day Celebration - Brandon’s Favorite Day of the Year !!

Brandon Independence Day Celebration – Friday, July 3, 2026

In 2026, the nation will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. If you are going to pick one Vermont town to visit for Independence Day festivities, you’ll want to choose Brandon. This small town knows how to throw a party and there are free events planned from morning to night and for everyone in the family.

Save the date – Brandon will celebrate on FRIDAY, JULY 3. Check back for the schedule of events as the time gets closer.

If you would like to participate in and help with the day’s festivities please contact Committee Chair Jessie Mohan at jessica.m.mohan @ gmail com.

With its newly revitalized streetscape, multiple downtown pocket parks and waterfalls, gorgeous historic architecture, quaint shops, and multiple lodging options and restaurants, Brandon is a top choice for visitors from all over and for all ages.

Brandon is situated at the crossroads between Routes 7 and 73 between lakes and mountains. The Moosalamoo National Recreation Area is just up the road a piece and Branbury State Park is just a stone throw’s away.
