Our mission at Ida’s House of Vermont is simple: to provide compassionate, top-quality care for seniors in our community while honoring their independence and dignity so that they may live their best life possible. We are a warm, family-style home where compassion, dignity, and connection come first. We welcome individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other neurocognitive health needs — including those on Medicaid — and provide care rooted in love, respect, and purpose. Here, every day is filled with warmth, laughter, and the belief that fragile hearts and minds can truly flourish.

Lyght Bulb Moment Foundation Inc. empowers individuals and communities through education, healthcare initiatives, and support services.
We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those affected by dementia, mental health challenges, and the caregivers who selflessly provide care. Through innovative programs and collaborations, we strive to foster resilience, promote well-being, and create a brighter future for all.

COMPASSION IS AT THE HEART OF OUR CARE
Lyght Bulb Moment Foundation Inc.® was created by a Nurse Practitioner out of frustration with the limited access to healthcare services in Vermont and other rural communities. Due to significant staff shortages and long wait times to see providers, many Vermonters struggle to receive the care they need.
Our foundation aims to bridge this gap by providing more resources and support to those affected by these challenges. Initially focused on dementia care, we have expanded our mission to include mental health care, ensuring that all individuals have access to essential health services.
