HarvestFest (Make Your Own Leaf Person)
Despite the rain and cold, we had a great time Making Leaf People on October 1. If you missed it, don’t worry, we will do it again next year! Always the Saturday before Columbus Day weekend (September 29, 2012)!

Sally is our Leaf People Expert!
At HarvestFest, the Chamber of Commerce supplies all materials, accessories, and instruction on how to make your very own “Harvest Person.” This event is a great way for people to be creative and let imaginations run wild. Event-goers choose clothes, a hat, shoes, and embellishments to personalize their own “Person.” Volunteers help with the finishing touches. The first “Harvest Person” per family is free of charge. After that, they are only $5 each.
Besides Harvest People-making, the event includes Hayrides and Pumpkins by the Harvest Program, The Lion’s Club delicious grill, Brandon Rotary Club with their famous apple pies and baked potatoes with toppings, and St. Mary’s Church with coffee cider and donuts.
Sponsored by the Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce, this event begins at 10 a.m. in Central Park, Brandon. Rain location will be announced if necessary. For more info contact the Chamber at 802-247-6401.
