Free Summer Concert Series
The Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present its annual free concert series. Here’s the 2012 line-up.
- All concerts begin at 6:30 pm.
- All concerts are in Central Park (opposite the Brandon Inn)
- Bring a chair or a blanket.
- There will be a rain location as needed.

Gene Childers and the Jubilee Jazz BandOur favorites! These musicians keep the tradition of early jazz alive. The musicians are from Vermont and New York and are among some of the finest in the Northeast. The Avant Garde Dogs BandBack by popular demand. The Avant Garde Dogs Band is an eclectic collection of musicians: two members of the Sleeping Dogs of old (Jim Murphy and Tad Merrick), The Keating Five (Jim Keating), and other members (Liam Murphy and Doug Wilhelm). The band’s songs range from John Hiatt, The Subdudes, Bruce Cockburn, Greg Brown, Ry Cooder. Los Lobos, The Rolling Stones, The Band, and even a little R&Bs.
