Patty Sgrecci creates kinetic (moving) sculptures from a variety of media  such as wood, reed, hand painted rice papers, wire, and fiber. She loves the process of making mobiles: the problem solving and engineering. Her goal is to create lyrical, moving sculptures that capture nature’s gestures.

Patty has a BFA in Fiber Arts from Syracuse University. She shows nationally and has completed commissions of three large scale public art sculptures in Washington and Idaho where she once lived. She now maintains a studio in the Granary building at 29 Union St. in Brandon and will be open during Art in the Snow: Saturday, February 18 from 11 am – 4 pm and Sunday, February 19 from 12 noon – 4 pm. Demonstrations will be ongoing each day.
