Compass celebrates music and the creative arts through regular art exhibits by regional artists, music performances, programs, workshops, and more. Visit with artisans while they work in their studios, browse specialty stores, the book shop and the classical music store featuring the music of international recording label, Divine Art Records, and retrace the history of recorded sound in the Phonograph Rooms exhibit. Artist studios, rehearsal and lesson rooms, offices, and retail space is available. See the website for updates. Compass is open daily from 10-5pm with a café serving lunch, coffee, and freshly baked goods from 10:30-4pm daily. Compass is located in the old Brandon Training School, now known as Park Village, just north of downtown Brandon, off of Arnold District Road.
The Compass Music and Arts Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, formed to help support the Compass Music and Arts Center and to help bring art programs of all kinds to Brandon. For more information see their website.
